About Us
Paintable Pictures exists to create magical painting experiences, by blending crafts w/ a touch of technology.
Pat Carroll and Peter Schrock left their jobs in tech to build what they believed would be the next-generation of crafts products: one that could allow anyone to paint any photo, regardless of skill level.
In October '23 they launched their Paintable Pictures 'Pets Edition' product, the first edition of DIY painting kits.
The product was an instant hit - landing on Oprah's Favorite Things, and featured in People, Today, HGTV, Country Living, Buzzfeed, Sherri, and other major media outlets.
The product line has since expanded to include Portraits, with another 5 new products launching in 2025.
